I love your newsletter...I am doing better now than several weeks ago. I am on an IV for 5 hours a day for calories. I pray that I will recover so I can have my children home again, ages 6 and 8 years old. I haven't seen them since May (now August) and my 8 year old has been living with her grand parents for 2 years. God bless.



It is a very sad day today. I packed up all my wardrobe. I had 10 wool business suits and 6 wool dress pants. Now my lungs wheeze and my hands itch to even handle them. I remember dressing for Real Estate--high-powered suits. Keep on keeping on, Janet.

We thank you for your ministry and pray for God's blessing for you. We have been unable to be at home for almost four months becoming ill each time we return for a day or a night. So we are sleeping in our 1969 camper (for which we are most grateful) in various places trying to find a new place.



I am a survivor of more than 20 years with this illness but am always learning how to deal with it better. At one time we had no one else to share with. This ministry is most needed...all the new ones.



Thank you, thank you, thank you. The [winter] clothes fit and I hardly react from them at all. After 2 clear water washes they will probably be perfect. The only thing I have to wear in warm weather is one bra. Other things make me very sick. I am very grateful for several changes.



My Christian counselor gave me your name and organization...I've been sick for 7 years really bad and was just diagnosed as E.I. a few months ago. I'm a Christian and I am struggling so hard--with no understanding. I was church secretary and accountant at my church, and now have no job. Insurance has stopped paying. No understanding from husband....I'm devastated, depressed and panicked at the destruction of my life over the last few years. (I did own an acctg. firm and had to sell it in 1987)....Thanks.



I am a Christian with Environmental Illness. I have physical pain--most severe head pain--plus the mental and emotional distress of being isolated from all those I love and all things I love doing and being a part of. I cannot even attend church or ministering classes which, of course, is difficult to do and still remain joyful. (Often I feel death would be a blessing--especially for my family--I am only a burden now.) Thank you for putting me on your mailing list.



I am dying of E.I. Cannot walk, have not been out of my controlled environment, tiny trailer, for 13 years. Need financial help, nursing help and emotional help.



Because of a natural gas leak in our home, my family has environmental illness. We have 4 lovely daughters, ages 22 months to 14 1/2 years. We are now home schooling, unable to attend church, go to stores, etc. I am sure God holds us in the palm of His hand and I feel His loving presence but I would greatly appreciate knowing other moms in this situation and sharing God's part in our lives. A friend gave me a copy of an announcement of yours from May 1990. I hope you are still sharing, caring and praying.



I understand you print a newsletter for ecologically ill people. I was overcome by chemicals two years ago while working in a chemical supply room. I am uncompensated for my illness and in need of information for food, clothing and support as my health has destroyed my family and social life. Expenses far outweigh our meager income. The medical doctors do not recognize my illness and say my problem is just nerves, anxiety or stress.



I worked in two brand new office buildings with new carpeting, new drapes, etc. and that is when it hit me. My main problem is the burning sensation in one section or as much as all of my body. The pain is minor to so severe it feels as though I am on fire. I can find nothing to ease the pain other than to gradually let it wear off which sometimes takes hours, days or weeks....I have a husband who was laid off two months ago...



I am very ill from an industrial chemical poisoning 5 1/2 years ago. Worker's compensation is very difficult. I have won after all these years, but receive nothing. They still fight me.



I have many disabilities and sensitivities due to exposure to trichlorethelane. I am a born again Christian and only my faith in God has kept me going. The pain and confusion is sometimes just about too much to bear.
